The museum has five event spaces, each with a different capacity. For small events, or up to 100 guests, the lecture hall, boardroom, and second-floor terrace are ideal, depending on the type of event. The lecture hall and boardroom are excellent spaces for less formal occasions or corporate events.
Wedding clients gravitate towards the spacious covered terrace with expansive views of the Hillsborough River. Many couples have their ceremony outside on the terrace and reception inside the Atrium, with limitless layout options for dining and dancing. The Atrium also provides a stunning backdrop for ceremonies and the srtriking staircase makes for the most swoonworthy photos. Couples with less than 30 guests can consider using the second-floor terrace, which is also a beautiful spot for photos.

“Even though the day was about us, we wanted to make sure that all of our guests really enjoyed themselves, which meant making sure that the music and the food were on point. Since we are both foodies, we took our station menu very seriously. We chose a Tampa Cubano theme which featured an incredibly tasty and authentic Cuban menu.”

SBH CATERING TIP
Have cocktail hour outside on the terrace. If you time it right, your guests will see the sunset over the Hillsborough River. Then, transition to the Atrium, where a buffet or stations will allow guests to view displayed art.
